Moravian University 2023 Senior Thesis Exhibition

In designing Moravian University’s 2023 Senior Thesis Exhibition, I worked closely with the senior students—my clients—to bring their vision to life while ensuring the design reflected the diverse backgrounds and disciplines of the graduating class. A key aspect of the project was the careful selection of color choices, which I captured in a progress photo to showcase the evolving design process and how the students’ preferences influenced the final look.

To appeal to the predominantly graphic design student audience, I created a series of isometric illustrations, incorporating clean lines and geometric precision that highlighted the modern, digital tools of the design world. At the same time, I made sure to include elements that represented other disciplines, such as studio art, ensuring the design was inclusive of the variety of creative work displayed at the exhibition.

The deliverables for the project included a large poster to announce the exhibition, a column poster to provide additional details, small flyers for promotional use, and social media posts to generate. The main goal of the design was to be modular and universal, each piece was crafted to work cohesively across different platforms. This was done to make sure the final exhibition experience was both visually striking and conceptually unified.
